ARTIST STATEMENT

I am an artist who is in love with color, shape, line and contrast.  I feed off of the intrigue, inspiration, and depth of the human spirit.  Amidst the destruction and the trials we experience, the hope in us brings beauty and joy to life.  This is what I pursue.  To make the world's darkness and despair less dominating through the exploration of transformation and integration.

Seeing a group of people gathering in solidarity to create change, or appreciate the wonder of life always brings me to tears.  I hope my work will give you a glimpse of this experience.
