Ginny Barker

Ginny Barker is a performer and educator. She is one of the Co-founders of Chrysalis and the Ecological Arts and Environmental Education program Director. She has also been performing with the Mystic Family Circus for over 3 years.

She has been teaching children for over 7 years, offering classes such as theater arts, children¹s literature and story telling, music and environmental art and education. She also is a Children¹s Entertainer performing at children¹s events throughout the bay area.

She has extensively studied Performing Arts, Music, Community Based Education, Ecological Arts and Environmental Education, and Early Childhood Education.

She has taught in many public and private schools as well as many Homeschool groups and community based education centers developing various curriculums, classes and programs. She also has experience with Montessori and Waldorf methods of teaching.

Specializing in performance arts, environment and community based education she aims to inspire her students to learn and grow though the synergy of the arts, academics and environmental education.
